Domaine Potterat | Data protection declaration

Inspired by Privacy statements on the internet (admin.ch)

What is the purpose of the data protection declaration?

The data protection declaration explains to Internet users what data is collected and for what purposes it is processed. It gives concrete form to the duty to inform of the data controller as set out in art. 19 of the Data Protection Act (DPA). According to this provision, users must be provided with sufficient and clear information so that they can freely decide whether and how they wish their data to be processed.

Are there any internal guidelines or rules concerning the collection, processing and communication of data?

Yes, we only collect data that is strictly necessary for the performance of our tasks. We do not pass on this information to third parties when this is not necessary. We endeavour not to retain data beyond what is necessary for the purpose for which it is to be used. The most important thing for us is that, with or without data, you can always enjoy a good glass of Chasselas.

And the most important question of all, what should you drink as an aperitif?
